GMS Climate Change Map

Browse and view the potential geographic outcomes of climate change scenarios in the Greater Mekong Subregion.

The Southeast Asia START Regional Center has developed an Interactive Regional Climate Change Map that shows the geographic outcome of future climate change scenarios for the Greater Mekong Subregion. The maps were developed using the PRECIS regional climate model and are based on initial data from the ECHAM4 Global Circulation Model (SRES A2 and B2 GHG scenarios).

As part of a broader collaboration between SEA START and the GMS Core Environment Program, the Environment Operations Center GIS unit is hosting the SEA START Interactive Regional Climate Change Map, and plans to develop the application interface further in the near future.
