The Government of Myanmar has made public its latest environment information via a new website aiming to support government planners to make effective development decisions and realize sustainable development goals.

Hosted by the Ministry of Conservation and Forestry (MOECAF), the ‘Myanmar Environment Portal’ provides key statistics, maps, and documents under 15 development themes and is viewable in both Burmese and English. 

MOECAF is collaborating with other ministries to source and upload further content in the coming months. The GMS Core Environment Program provided funding and technical support to build the website.
