17 to 18 June 2012
Two side events prior to the main Rio +20 event featured the Greater Mekong Subregion and CEP.
On 18 June, the event Securing Food, Water and Energy in the World's Most Valued Ecoregions saw Javed Mir, Director, ADB, highlight key food, water, energy challenges in the GMS, and how CEP-BCI is responding in an integrated manner.
On 19 June, discussions at the event Mobilizing Plans and Investments to Build Green Economies was led by WGE representatives along with the ADB Vice President.
Both events were part of the Investing in Natural Capital series, organized by WWF, African Development Bank, ADB, the Global Environment Facility, and the Inter-American Development Bank.
